RUSK STATE OFFICE 24 X 30 2005

Another view of a very ugly building. I love ugly buildings. The poor, neglected things shout to be painted. The state took advantage of depressed property values in the 1980s to acquire office space in Austin. Over the course of two days, workers filed out and visited with me. They would point out which window was theirs. I would imagine them peeking past the mirrored glass from their cubicles. They are probably retired with their pensions by now. I hope Enron and the events of 2008 didn't destroy them. Luckily, I invested in canvas and paint.
