Another quiet haven off a busy intersection. I started the painting (on the right) in 2004. It bothered me and festered in my studio for a while. Rarely do I return to a painting, but this one was an insult. Usually I would paint over or unstretch the piece. Out of sight, out of mind. This one was insistent and I complied. Now I like the piece (left) quite a bit. Allowed it to grace my wall for a time. Like children, they can be difficult. Patience, love and friendship is a salve on those difficult relations. My wart has blossomed.
