Here is an image filled with anxiety and paranoia. I cooked up some pot and my friend and I ate it before heading out on the trailhead. Armed with bells we dingled our way past the grizzly bear warning signs for a couple of miles. My buddy became increasingly anxious the farther we hiked. At last, I found a suitable site to paint. He sat with his back to me, determined to eat the bear before it ate us. I worked quickly as I could, seeing how uncomfortable he was. The effort in hiking back relieved his paranoia and stress, just in time for me to have a major panic attack. I was never so happy to climb into my sleeping bag and wait to feed the bears.
