PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE 1 20X24 2003

Virgin territory to paint with the opening of the new pedestrian bridge. I am a very conscientious painter concerning the environment around me. I keep my paints in a child's suitcase to minimize the chance of a spill. Over the course of 34 years, I have had 3 catastrophic spills. The first, in France, landed on me and my canvas. The second, in Toledo, was on the steps of a cathedral. Like a fire, I tucked and rolled in an attempt to wick as much paint as I could. Covered in purple, I got the hell out of there before they threw me in a Spanish prison. This bridge was the site of spill #3. It wasn't a bad one but the bridge was so pristine making any defect stand out. I have visited my "stains" over the years. I have left a mark on Austin.
