I don't recall what brought me back to Houston. I do remember basking in her glorious humidity. I vaguely recall being close to Enron's headquarters. The shit was hitting the fan at this time and there were all sorts of media set up. I have always admired the classical lines of the Esperson building. I am sure she was a giant once upon a time, but today she is a beautiful dwarf in the shadow of her younger neighbors. Her proud foundation has withstood the ever changing Houston skyline and thirst for urban renewal.
