SMITH TOWER SEATTLE 20X16 2000

Once upon a time word processors were called typewriters. Lyman Smith, the Steve Jobs of his time, built an empire one key at a time. Smith Tower was his monument to this achievement. It is a distinctive structure which has stood since 1914. I was able to hang out in Pioneer Square while I painted this number. Lots of drug scores took place around me. The smell of coffee sustained me in this cool, damp, environment.
