I am painting an array of dishes on the Fox News building in downtown Austin and exhibiting at a coffee shop close by. A familiar stranger comes over and tells me he would like to buy the painting of the capitol. I say great and ask him his name. He blushes and assures me I know him as the anchor for Fox evening news. Shyly, I apologize and confess that I don't own a television. It was a pretty awkward several minutes. I was sure I had lost a sale, but I didn't.
