HOH  20X16  1993

It rains 14 feet per year in the Hoh Rainforest. It was spectacular and clear when I was trapping around it. The trees are amazing. The smell of the forest and the clarity of the water makes you forget about the world beyond this Eden. In 93, the mills and logging was still strong in the areas surrounding the Hoh. Sitting in a diner I could not help but notice how small the trees were on the logging trucks compared to the photos on the wall. Must of been amazing when the Pacific Northwest was covered in old growth.
