RAINIER from the OLYMPICS  20X16  1993

Hiked and painted with friends on the Olympic Peninsula. The mosquitos were a huge nuisance. I pulled my hoodie up and peered through a two inch hole. There are mosquitos embedded in this painting. This park is really nice. It has the visual drama of the Rockies with the gentleness of coastal mountains. I love that you can see Mount Rainier, another place to love. Between the bugs, hiking, and visiting with my friends, I have about 1.5 hours invested in this painting. I think it is fresher for it.
