The cop, the clown and the Indian are themes I return to individually and collectively. I see them as elements of my own personality. Symbolically, the Indian represents being in the moment, one with my environment. The cop represents cation, prudence, and projecting. The clown is obviously the jokester. It also represents acceptance of the past. In addition to their symbolic weight, they have significance as icons from my childhood. Each has attractive and repulsive (fearful) relevance.
